A recent study a by media management firm Strata marketing looks at how social media advertising has surpassed search. The study looked at 1,000 advertising agencies that together spend a total of $50 billion annual advertising dollars. The results showed that 69% focused their advertising budget on social media. More than those who focused on search (65.5%) and just short of online display (71.3%).
